Scatter My Red Underwear

I was conceived in the back of a CW class in the SFSU Creative Writing Department in 2004. Sandra Cisneros tempted my momma into action. Ana Devear Smith & John Legusizamo showed my momma how. Ntozake Shange's For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Was Enuf, nourished me. I lived in the womb at the Bay Area Slams. Open Mics and Teatro shows were good to me. The Vagina Monologues taught me how to walk. And three years later here I am ready to show what I can do. Come check me out, I'm alive in all of you.
